SAAS PRE-FLIGHT
SaaS launch readiness checklist
Verify the full loop from acquisition to paid entitlement—not just whether the homepage loads. Every checked item should have a current production receipt, event, or owner.
Acquisition and signup
- The landing-page promise matches the product users reach.
- Signup succeeds and failure states explain the next step.
- Source and campaign attribution survive the authentication redirect.
Activation
- A new account can reach the first valuable outcome.
- Activation, abandonment, and failure events arrive with one stable user identity.
- Empty states show an obvious next action.
Billing
- Checkout uses the intended production prices.
- Webhook success, failure, retry, cancellation, and upgrade paths are observable.
- Entitlements change only after authoritative payment confirmation.
Lifecycle and support
- Welcome and activation emails are deliverable and deduplicated.
- Reply-to, support, privacy, and terms destinations work.
- Cancellation and data-deletion expectations are explicit.
Operations
- A named owner watches errors, latency, and conversion during launch.
- The last-known-good deployment and rollback command are recorded.
- Synthetic checks are labeled so they do not inflate customer metrics.
